Just a Little Rant

So overall, today was basically stress free. A little homework in some classes, but I can deal with that. We even watched Dear John in history, which has nothing to do with history, by the way. Anyhoo, I went to the movie "Hotel Transylvania" because that's what teenagers do, go to children's movies on a Friday night (not). I laughed a lot more than I should have. It's after this movie that the "stress" happens. I use quotations because I know this is hardly stress and I'm just being dramatic, a more normal thing for a teenager to do on a Friday night (like omg DRAMA). So I leave the theatre to go to my friend's house to pick up my vehicle. I get there and realize I lost my phone so I called the theatre and asked if I could pick it up, because that's the only possible place it could be at this point. They said yeah, there were still people leaving anyway. So I go there, and what do you know: it's empty and locked. You have to realize that it only takes 10 minutes maximum to get across town and this theatre is tiny, so I expected this tiny bit of "customer service".

Then dilemma number 2 is that I had half a quarter tank of gas left to get home, 15 minutes out of town. So I'm broke at the moment and have 11 dollars to get gas for this tank of a truck that takes most of my bank account to fill. Usually, I share the cost with my dad who also drives it, but seeing as my parents have been gone for a while, it didn't work out like that today. In conclusion, I feel a bit pathetic without my phone, no more than 12 dollars in my bank account, and no parents to welcome me home (their bedtime is 9:30 now because of jet lag). First world pains at its finest, I guess.

Update: my parents weren't even home, so they got home and I got my nice welcoming. Also, my mother got a call from the lady from the movie theatre saying she has my phone and I can pick it up tomorrow. My mother also told me she would pay for my gas. I'm feeling a little embarrassed about my mini breakdown. I should thank my parents more.
