This week has gone by fast, but it still feels like a long one. I've been busy everyday after school, so because I don't have anything to do today, it feels like Friday. If you're in school, you know what I mean when I say my life is basically waiting for Friday. I had a grad meeting yesterday which means that I'm freaking out a little bit about post-highschool. My parents also just got back after a 2 week trip to Spain, so like any other teenager, I'm letting all these nerves attack my mom. This town is crazy, so I've had to book my hair appointment for the June graduation after hearing that a lot of people booked the last spot at their usual salon for the special day. There's also photographers that people are booking, but I'm a little too awkward to have a stranger take pictures of me for more than 5 minutes. Then, there's the dress. I'm the baby of the family, so my mom and sisters are going to make a pretty big deal out of dress shopping. Hurray?
I've also started on my application for university. I got the basics filled out, but when I got to the program itself, I froze - I really have no idea what direction I want to go in when it comes to education. In highschool, it's easy; I just need the basics, like English, French, Math, a science and then whatever other classes I want to fill my schedule up with. The thing is, I don't know how university schedules work. How many classes do you take in a certain time frame? I'll figure it out.
The hard part is that I'm not going for anything specific. I just need some classes to be able to get a proper job and then some other classes to test my interests, like psychology and arts or whatever. I feel like this post is becoming too diary-ish so I think it's safe to say that I'm running out of material.
Hopefully you're having a bit more success than I am in figuring out your future, or are happy with the path you decided to take.
